Most of you already know. For the past few months I have been preparing a round-the-world trip with my girlfriend.
It was after our trip to Tromso that the idea started to take shape in our minds. We had both just finished our first three years of graphic design studies and successfully obtained our degree. We didn't feel ready to jump straight into more studies. We needed a gap year. It was in this context, around May 2017, that we seriously considered going travelling.
We had a period of just over a year available (June 2017 to August 2018), and we really wanted to make the most of it. A round-the-world trip, even a 'small' one, takes a long time to prepare. It also brings a lot of doubts and questions. I think it's interesting to share this whole preparation phase with you. It might help or at least reassure you.
